Shelly 1 Gen4 ANZ – Smart Switch with Dry Contacts

The Shelly 1 Gen4 ANZ is a compact, one-channel smart relay with potential-free (dry) contacts. It combines Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Matter, making it suitable for lighting, heating and cooling, appliances, doorbells, irrigation, garage doors and security gates.

Official ANZ rating: This version is documented and certified for 110–240 V AC supply and AC switching only. It is not officially specified or certified for DC supply or DC switching. The dry contact is electrically isolated, but that does not make the ANZ version officially DC-rated.

Unofficial 12 V DC observation: Fernwood has bench-tested one ANZ unit using 12 V DC on the terminals corresponding to the international model’s 12 V DC input, and that sample operated normally. This is an informal observation from a single unit—not a manufacturer specification, certification, recommendation or guarantee. DC compatibility may vary and could change between hardware revisions. Fernwood does not warrant or provide technical support for operation outside the published ANZ specifications. Any such use is experimental and at the user’s own risk; it should not be used for safety-critical applications. This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

ANZ electrical specifications

Inductive loads require an RC snubber. External circuit protection is required. Installation on mains wiring must be carried out by a suitably qualified electrical worker in accordance with local regulations.
