Shelly Bypass

Overview

Shelly Bypass is a compact accessory used with selected no-neutral Shelly lighting devices when the connected lamp load is too small to provide stable operating current. It is fitted in parallel with the light fitting and can resolve symptoms such as faint glowing, flicker or unreliable device operation when the light is off.

The bypass is a passive component: it does not connect to Wi-Fi, require configuration or add another device to the Shelly app. Once installed with a compatible controller and load, it works automatically.
