Overview

This Shelly DS18B20 temperature sensor is a one-metre digital probe with a 3.5 mm connector for The Pill by Shelly. It provides a simple way to measure air, surface or liquid temperature at a point separated from the main smart module.

Unlike an analogue thermistor, the DS18B20 sends a digital reading, helping maintain measurement consistency over the cable run. The probe format is useful where the electronics should remain away from heat, moisture or a confined measurement location.
